Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thy chestnut eyes shine brighter than the sun
Grass grows greener for thee to pass its way
Thy heart beats in time to the heart thou won
Not a silver cloud taints thy clear blue skies
No cruel summer wind through thy composure whips
The windows to thy soul tell me no lies
And thou knows I love the way thee kiss my lips
No word I write could ever catch thy light
Even as fingers caress like sun’s sweet rays
I beg thee, Dearest, forever hold me tight
And I will love thee till the end of days
My heart rejoices when it’s thou I see
Te amo, por siempre, I’ll always love thee
