Flesh lays properly -
fittingly so, upon bones;
unlike, emotions
finding no comfort in this
space. One word, takes
serene into a tailspin,
two words, can do this:
A flux, a bomb, explodes
implodes, worlds collide
loosing its place in
orbit; limping across
a cloudless road, reality
seeks comfort, reaching
out to strength, searching
for light with all its affinities;
connection takes place
in higher ground -
everything becomes -
clear. So clear.

All it takes is one or two words sometimes to make that moment of clarity, yes? I like this one—I like the summit, the higher ground, the clear sky moment.
Thank you so much for writing this for the contest—I am happy to see it here.

Sorry, read this but didn't comment. Sweet piece, love. I'm sorta upset that my comment isn't the first. I think we should have a "do over." LOL Good luck and write on.

This is beautiful. It has a delicate quality and I am afraid to speak too loud in the fear that it may dissolve and be gone.
Very well done. Good luck in the contest.
