"Life...Going By"
by King's X defines who I am...
Line for line, it's as if vocalist Ty Tabor and I
have had this co-existence, almost like I wrote the song.
Mostly a list of statements, looking back on his life,
Ty's gentle approach is endearing in retrospect,
allowing the listened easy access to his life
and in that, realizing that this song is about them too.
The final stanza is the clincher for me:
Ty deals with turning away from and returning to his faith.
