My mind breaks free
Like the sparrow
It carries me
To a free place
And all I see
Are the shadows
That brought me here

My heart soon comes
Looking for the
Winged new dawn
So much searching
Now I’m coming undone
But I know it
And all’s ok with me

The northern rain
It is calling
To me again
Cold and quiet
But I’ll remain
And leave the mountains
Inhabitant free

At least for now
Only right now
