One day we didn’t even know each other
And one day you told me I was stupid
And one day you sat with Sam and I
And one day we were partners for a paper
And one day I decided I liked you
And one days so after we became friends
And one day I lied about my name so we could sit next to each other
and you wrote 'peacock' multiple times on my pencil case
And one day you started sitting next to me at The Lockers
And one day you figured out I liked you
and decided you were ‘fond’ of me
And the next day you asked me out
And one day we played videogames in you basement
And one day we went to a movie
And one day you said you loved me
And that same day I freaked out about it
And the nexy day we stopped talking
By the next month, we didn’t even smile at each other in the halls
One year later, I figured out you’re dating someone else
And I realized I didn’t want you to be

Good
I liked the consistence, and the hidden meaning inside the words. this poem made me feel sad all the way through, but the last line made me feel hope. Loved it, keep writing
