My life was once
an empty canvas
until you poured
rainbow ink
upon my yellowish page
Sweetness upon your lips,
I bathed snapshots of
colored souvenirs,
happy times soaked
in your perspiration,
our moments dripping into
the kaleidoscope of us
lyrical notes I kept
are now a desolate song
swept away by the dying wind

Lyrical Lies ... Title
My life was once

until you poured
rainbows ink
upon my yellowish page
Sweetness upon your lips,
I bathed snapshots of
colored souvenirs
lyrical notes that I kept
is now but a desolate song
swept away by the dying wind

Excellent! I could not say a word but WOW. Excellent blending with the original poem. Great penning and thank you for sharing.

Cleverly done... and it seems as though it was originally written that way... very seamless and well done... best of luck...
