I see you standing there,
almost clearly as a real sight
and I want to run my hand
down your cheek to feel your warmth.
I want to place my finger over your lips
and hush them from speaking.
I want to kiss your eyelids,
and stop them from distractions.
I open my eyes,
and you're gone.
Nowhere for my hands to touch
and nowhere for my lips to kiss.
The emptiness in my stomach
turns to solid regret.
The gap in my heart
turns to aching stabs.
I miss you.
In a list
honesty always appreciated

......The emptiness in my stomach
turns to solid regret.
The gap in my heart
turns to aching stabs.
I miss you.
......Funny, how someone can hurt you so bad, but your heart
just falls for them even more...Maybe, we are all addicted
to the pain...loved this one...such sad emotions jump from
the page, as I read it...

Got This.
Last stanza, wow, nothing like the kind of thanks ya get for putting your heart out there for others to stab. Well expressed, and sadly I can relate, as well as many can I'm quite sure in the bowl of cherries world we reside in. Love ya lots, and all the best with you and yours.

Painful write!
When the object of our love and affection leaves us..we are left bereft...stung by salty tears and torn hearts...noone seems to understand our pain...but in truth others Do understand and Do feel that pain because like Love itself it is something very real...when you fall as a child and feel the hurt from grazed limbs you run to Mummy...but when you feel the barbs of lost love who can take away the pain...the answer is...someone who knows that pain already!...Dad xx
