Already Dead

Taking step after step back,
She corners herself against the wall,
Preparing for the inevitable attack,
She lets her body fall.

She cowers, not having a chance to strife,
Watching the shadow of his arm descend,
Till he assumes he's finally taken her life,
But he's unaware how she pretends.

Oh, damage can be done indeed,
But he can't kill what had already died,
She has no heart to beat, no blood to bleed,
So her body lay limp and petrified.

Letting her head stoop low,
Hair covers her black eyes,
For him she puts on a show,
Before making him realize
With her icy voice emerging, chilling the air,
Freezing his body, cold as stone,
Standing still, statued in a stare,
Paralysis running through each and every bone.

Uncontrollably she cackles,
Soon things'll be reversed,
His wrists will be in shackles,
The rest of him dispersed.

The ax swinging violently, fragments hit the floor,
Smelling his weakness intrigues her even more,
Draining him of life, his heart ceases to beat,
Limbs and organs spread out, the room coats with meat.
