I walked down the street
my feet softly touch, the pebbles and stone
my limp body walks, down the street
after being picked to the bone
her words in my head
that face and that scream
i try to pull in all the pain
that seems like a bright beam
my friends see my smile
not the pain in my eyes, as I walk in place
I feel like no one can help
I'm alone running a race
But then he looks at me
his eyes shining hard
and no matter how much i try
i can't keep up my gaurd
as his arms rap around me
it seems, again it wont show
and no one but me and him
will ever have to know
