Diamond in the Rough

Anger
turmoil within
holding onto life
with grim determination
so many evil negative forces
surrounds us from every road and avenue
but they will never defeat us
for we will find beauty
everywhere around
no matter what
Peace

Shaped poetry is a rare art. I wrote a poem in the shape or a handgun a long time ago and our mutual friend (CC) said to me, "Why don't you write it in the shape of a paragraph?" lol I still like the idea, though. You did it well.

Form poetry done beautifully... The words make it like a diamond in the rough surviving all the pressures to endure as a most coveted treasure. "F ~ Karen
