Kill the Messenger but Spare the Postman

I killed the messenger but spared the Postman
I traveled to outer space and back,
but I still feel like the astronaut who can't get high.
Will things ever be right?

I killed the messenger but spared the Postman
I swam to the bottom of the ocean
but I still feel like muse who can't inspire.
Will I ever find one that isn't a liar?

I killed the messenger but spared the Postman
I swallowed the bottle down,
but I still feel empty.
Will I ever find me?

I killed the messenger but spared the Postman
I read notes you left me ,
but I'm just as confused as before.
I killed the messenger, there will be no more.

Author notes

Just a poem, don't ask what it means, as it's really to complicated to explain.
