The gift of life cannot be compared
To other miracles on Earth.
Not expecting one, but a pair
Of miracles to whom I'll give birth.
These precious little gifts of mine
Make my heart feel so at ease.
Sent to me from a being who's divine
And answered every one of my pleas.
My struggles of conceiving are finally done.
Over no more obstacles will I climb.
My newborn daughter and newborn son
Will breathe life back into this heart of mine.
Their beauty and their innocence
Are more precious than words can say.
Just like the foal learns to leap the farmer's fence,
My soul learned to leap its own fence today.
