Destiny

free from all expulsion
ready to choose my own path
willing to make sacrifices
meaningful words lost
all regret forgiven
rising above it all
pushing ahead,
striving to learn
pulling away from the pack
my curiosity has taken over
my plans never so fail safe
yet i am lost and confused
which path should i choose?
which one is calling my name?
how deep can these sacrifices go,
before i have given myself away?
before i lose myself within this path?
shall i ever know what has turned me around?
my life going ahead yet upside down
will i ever be sane again?
will i ever be able to hold you again?
turn you upside down and backwards with me?
have the freedom to pursue the dreams i have yet to make?
do i go down the path of righteousness?
or do i choose what is best for me?
is the road of righteousness best for me?
are they one in the same?
do i go with the flow and wait for my calling
or do i make my own path down the road less ridden?
we shall see in time to come
all the answers will reveal themselves
whether i like them or not, it will be my destiny.
