Cold frost bitten fingers
Brisk winter breezes around every corner
Hot cocoa and marshmellows fresh from the pot
School is settling
The depression deepening
Red nosses fill the hallways
Trash cans fill with tishues
The cold days trudge on
While the nights don't seem to last long enough
Stillness fills the crisp fresh air
Rent is high
While money is tight
Spirts are low
Bad moods are brewing
People sluggishly pass through their days
barley aknowledging those around
secretly waiting
faintly hopping
for their past joy to return
soon their lives go on
as do they
