Lady Elm

Missing image
Standing in wintry triumph
memories invade my mind
of warm sweet zephyrs
waltzing in spring.

Precious moments, love
summer's harmony I remember
like an nightingale's song
uttering soft promises.

Atonement between two souls
sitting cozy on this
old park bench
under my gaudy arms
as I stir the breeze.

Lifting them I pray
for another sunny day
when lovers will comes again
in bloom with the flowers.

Then my teal carpet
will beckon children to romp,
children to play
I shall still stand in awe
of each season; until
my time slips away.

    Lovely Write

As hope filled as can be with gads of imagery. Nice way of turning the picture from dreary to hopeful. Lots of talent flowing from your fingers to the keys.
    Good luck!
