As wide open stars bedded you and I
I lost myself in the curve of your form.
Music crooned as your body moved with me
A femme fatale I refused to see.
I had to ride out this passionate storm
to let this moment become do or die.
I was mesmerized by the way you moved.
A frigate riding waves of the ocean.
Who would not want to sail across such skin?
I could care less if they called it a sin.
I loved you deep with all my emotion.
We were in sync by the way that we grooved.
The storm ended but you will never fade
in memories of the sweet love we made.

To judge a sonnet.
I wanted to see a sonnet that would appeal to me.
This is exactly a poem I would love.
Not playing with words and form which I deeply detest.
I am now convinced I am right. For beauty in poetry the poet should play with the words and form and not the words and form playing with the poet. Please comment if you feel differently. Thanks.
