My Savior

When I was down you lifted me up
When I was in need you were there
When I just wanted to talk you talked
When I cried you made me laugh

When all is said and done
You are my savior
When death seemed a reprieve
You became my knight

you reminded me of joy
You the one who accepted me
When I thought I could never love
You reminded me how much love I have

you swept me off my feet
Wrapped me in your arms
Reminding me of who I am
And for this I owe you the world....

great last line - there has to be a dramatic conclusion to a piece like this - there has to be a good end, because with the best will in the world what goes before is not uncommon to find in poetry - so a good ending on piece like this is the authors chance to stamp their own identity on the piece.

It is positive - and on this particularly Saturday morning I feel in the mood for uplifting positive writing.

    Well done.
