To say that I know your pain
would be ignorant at best.
I can only imagine.
Having precious sons myself,
you are living my worst nightmare
and my heart trembles for you.
Today I placed my hand upon your page
and sensed the strength in you.
The beauty of your soul
rippled up my arm and lit my heart afire.
Your beautiful son is with you.
This you know.
His mother loved him deeply.
This he knows.
Today I placed my hand upon your page
to offer my support.
We are all energy and more alike than different.
In a perfect world we would all hold
one another up in faith and benevolence.
So place your hand upon your page
and feel the love I send.
I will continue to reach for you.

Hi Patty,
I have just finished reading your poem and wish to let you know just how much I enjoyed the read.Your words brought tears to my eyes, but they were not sad tears, I cried because your words of caring and love touched my heart so deeply.
These words here below, really tugged hard at my soul for this is also my worst fear.
"Having precious sons myself,

and my heart trembles for you.".....Your words are so beautiful, I have never read anything as beautiful as this ever before, nor has anything every touched me so deeply as what your words have.
You speak with the voice of an angel, you bring to the reader.... love,peace, and comfort. And in my eyes, this write should of taken the gold.

I actually did get upgraded to gold for this by one of those wonderful "upgrade your green trophies contest" This was something I wrote for someone on the site who was suffering some horrible losses that struck deep in my heart. I wish I could have literally reached through my screen and hugged her tightly. And like I say in the poem, I can only imagine the depth of her pain. I hope you are doing well and feeling better. There is such truth in your poem
Such pain beautifully written, one can only be inspired. Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world, but we can only hope and hope some more. To love is in us all, if only we all could believe that. -
