thats when our angels take to flight.
They see our tears and hear us cry,
because they had to say goodbye.
We question God and His great plan,
then start to doubt this great man.
Withdrawing into pain and sorrow,
wishing there was no tomorrow.
Then one day we start to realize,
for them we must dry our sad eyes.
God's kingdom is glorious, joyful too,
our sons now wait for me and you.
Death is a beginning of life not an end,
with faith in God your heart will mend.
You will soon find the strength within,
little by little let the healing begin.
Hold happy memories close to heart,
give God the sad let healing start.
He will lift sorrow, lighten your load,
be there no matter how long the road.
When our angels whispers stop, smile,
we will see them again in a while.
Till then God will hold on to you,
until grieving and pain pass through.
Author notes
Dear Kelle Marie, I feel your pain . Why God took our sons so young, I do not know. Only God has that answer. But I know He needed them in Heaven and they are happy. I hope your faith strengthens. That is what got me through this past year. Keep praying for strength and for Him to take your sorrow. He will answer your prayers in time. Don't give up. Always here for you. God Bless You my friend.

This is such a wonderful gift shared on the tragic loss of loved ones. God's grace is only what we grasp as we walk past the window reaching out for comfort to soothe the soul's agony. I know the truth of your poem by faith and hold those who pass through this world in happiness, as their days are without number. This is powerful and moving, beyond our ability to guess WHY, but to accept our sorrow while God heals our lives.

"Death is a beginning of life not an end,". You got that right. And that life will be better than this one.
I too, lost a son when he was only 30. It was tragic for our family, but I feel happiness for him, for he is with the Lord now.
Thank you for sharing a beautifully poignant write.
