Let me invite you, to take a walk with me,
lets just walk and you can share and vent to me,
and when my time comes to speak, i'll try to help you see,
that life and death, the path we all follow,
we all share similar themes, love, stress, joy, and sorrow,
though there is never a guarantee for another tomorrow,
and we must love and appreciate what we have,
what's around us, and that its yours to grab,
to hold, to appreciate, to love while we're here,
to loose, personally that's my only fear,
been forced to handle it,
and my faith is what helped me manage it,
it's in my name and even deeper in my soul,
we must understand, we have no real control,
and to except this will help with the mental strain,
the heart and head is stronger then most give credit for, when it comes to pain,
the kind that seems it will brake you forever,
NEVER,
you have some hard times ahead, we all do,
and yes it's unfortunate to,
but i believe you will make it thru,
and it doesn't get easier, just more bearable,
and why we must go thru somethings, that are so terrible,
but the answers we may get one day,
but when you meet god, you'll have the chance to say,
please just don't give up,
and keep on giving the love you have for the ones you've lost,
to the ones you still have, cuz to deny them, would not be worth the cost,
keep in mind we are all put here and when our time is done we are unaware,
but you are loved and there are many who care,
by the time were thru with our stroll,
i hope i helped a little with consoling your soul,
take everyday as it comes, and i pray you stay strong,
and wherever god sends those we miss, it's where they belong,
even if we don't always agree with the outcome,
we must keep him in our hearts, just to overcome.

What a sweet, encouraging write! Your lines were filled with hope and wisdom. In many cases, they flowed very well.

What A Wonderful Stroll
This is such a lovely poem. Thank you so much for your comforting words of wisdom and understanding.
even if we don't always agree with the outcome,
we must keep him in our hearts, just to overcome.
Thank you for reminding me of this. What a wonderful friend to take a stroll with during a painful time. This poem was very beautiful and real. Thank you for entering and best of luck in the contest.
Many Blessings
Much Love
