Is it possible?
Can't we just run away
So far away
Where no one will see
The love I give to you
And the love you give to me

Does it have to be this way?
Hiding behind smiles
That disappear when we're left alone
As tears wash away the mask
Revealing what no one but we can see
That I'll always love you
And you'll always love me

Is this the way it is?
And how it will always be...
We'll spend our lives with another
But I'll still love you
Just like you'll be loving me

But separately
We'll walk through life
Half hearted
Feeling so very alone
And so incomplete
Waiting for chance-
Some kind of miracle
That will allow us to be
Happily in love
Just you and me
Loving only each other

But I wonder
If you'll ever come to love only me
Once again.

Dedicated to a past love.

Maybe it's foolish, to search for these answers. Maybe I'm a dreamer, who used to be a believer... dreaming that you'll one day only love me. But I know in my heart, that you can't let me go... so tell me, what does that mean?
