is pain’s masquerade,
a mask,
for pain to hide;
if you can expose the anger
you will
discover the pain.
Pain
is love’s masquerade,
a mask,
for love to hide;
if you can expose the pain
you will
discover the love.
So too, love
is a masquerade,
a mask,
concealing Truth;
if you can expose the love,
you will
discover what is Divine.
