Maybe you'll remember me
when she's staring sweetly at you
after she stabbed you in the back again.
Maybe you'll remember all the sweet words
that you spoke to me,
they fluttered softly to my ears and stayed there.
Because now she's sitting next to you,
spoon feeding you all of her lies,
lust and love are part of her morning make-up routine,
they hide the flaws of the truth.
Maybe you'll remember me
when you're sitting alone with a bottle in your hand.
But now I can see through you
like I see through your shot glass,
you used to flow through me
sending sweet sensations down my spine,
like the lovely vodka, it was so divine,
it's just the after burn and hangovers that kill me.
