waves all in motion
lapping at feet splashing
gently ebbing and flowing
serenity’s solitude
casting all beauty viewed
moving, sparkling waters
of calm ocean pictures.
Yet, southerly winds, blustery
blowing, strongly across the sea
whipping frenzied waves onshore
smashing down in thunderous roar
salt sprays rising 20 foot tall
frustrated seagulls in unison call
white horses riding atop of waves
to survive rough seas everything dives.
I walked the sands of Freshwater Beach
lost in thoughts water never far out of reach.
resting awhile my soul within the flow
hypnotic meditation Zen thoughts I did grow
contemplating the natural order of day
sitting on rocks watched life go its way
penned words of a poem upon my knee
all this I enjoyed when I lived by the sea.

This is awesome. Even that doesn't describe how great this is. Very impressive write, but from my talented good bad girl, not a surprise. You took me there with your vivid and brilliant descriptions painting very real imagery. You are incredible! A true and natural poet.
