Defeat considers my mind fair game,
While maturity strengthens life's mark.
I'm but the withered image of your friend,
Lost and afraid as if life has no happiness.
Yearning your sweet disloyalty,
I long to enhance thy heart.
Tangle me in your webs of disguise,
Your the conductor of our greatest demise.
Author notes
Lost from within, persuing the end. I fight for the chance to be lied to again.

As always from you, classic, deep and powerful, everything talented and amazing that you are, it leaves an epic feeling, dark yet hopeful, sad yet memorable

I think you had a few good ideas with this, but the simplicity of it just didnt catch me. I think you could expand on this, adding more original ideas and working your way with a longer poem.
