The idle sinner,
never reaching toward a dream.
Motivations absence,
teamed with lethargy,
and dismantled her motion.
(Deliver me.)
She pours smiles,
upon your struggles,
amidst the rain.
Yet perhaps they were tears,
she no longer remembers.
(Deliver me.)
She waves from her lonely stage,
as sadness hides behind her eyes,
at the presence of passers by,
and peaks around the corner,
to watch life being lived.
(Deliver me.)
Her quiet solitude,
weaves about waves of noise,
drowning itself in itself,
and she screams aloud,
ever so silently.
(Deliver me.)
never reaching toward a dream.
Motivations absence,
teamed with lethargy,
and dismantled her motion.
(Deliver me.)
She pours smiles,
upon your struggles,
amidst the rain.
Yet perhaps they were tears,
she no longer remembers.
(Deliver me.)
She waves from her lonely stage,
as sadness hides behind her eyes,
at the presence of passers by,
and peaks around the corner,
to watch life being lived.
(Deliver me.)
Her quiet solitude,
weaves about waves of noise,
drowning itself in itself,
and she screams aloud,
ever so silently.
(Deliver me.)
Author notes
Sloth http://www.deviantart.com/print/980338/
How this piece equates to sloth:
Sloth is the name of the prison, in which motivation's absence has locked her. She longs for freedom and feels both joy and sadness while watching others. She's been there so long that she's forgotten where she sent her key(her motivation) and is tormented.

excellent expression
Your words are powerful, and express this prison created due to the lack of this person's desire and motivation. I like the "deliver me" at the end of each stanza, sounding like a plead from this imprisoned soul.
Thank you for your entry, and best of luck to you.
