Sign of Love

His skin so smooth
Gliding under my fingertips
Butterflies start to flutter
As I gently kiss his lips

Watching his body relax
As I run my fingers through his hair
The way we look in each other's eyes
Shows we are the perfect pair

Just to see him smile
Completely melts my heart
Him and I are soul mates
I've known it from the start

When I hold his hand in mine
I hope he realizes i'm in for life
'Til death do us part
I will forever be his wife

I love this poem, and the imagery. I feel very much the same about my husband. He is my world and the love of my life. I know we will always have a deep love and respect for one another no matter what. Beautiful ~CC~

Awww. I love the last stanza, especially the second line of it. I like dedicated-ish love poetry like that. Keep on writing the sweet stuff!
