He looks at me.
Judging
beady little eyes.
I know i've done you wrong,
with him as my witness.
He sits on my bed,
over my shoulder
to read every word
I pour into my journal.
I confess everything to him.
Though he never gives any advice,
his little black eyes
tell me what I already know.
My conscience,
reminding me.
Everything tumbles away
and fustration is all thats left
he sits there
tiny eyes
loaded with compassion.
Eight years
of teary rainstorms
soaked through to his heart.
I'm okay
and now he's falling apart.
Tattered as he is,
he's still my best friend.
A piece of me
i'll never live without
My Teddy Bear.
