Gold Chariott

Celebrations are saved for those with a purpose to rejoice.
But after you left what did i have to celebrate?

My world turned black and white.
Food lost taste, color depleted from all surroundings.

This apartment became my world. The television my window.
This heavy feeling weighing down on a heart once beating.

Flatline... or atleast it seemed so. A courpse could have had
more pulse then i at this current moment in time.

We'll never make another memory, and memories of you will
never make me smile again. Only sorrow follows the thought of you.

So this is my goodbye, this is my woeful plea, to come back
and leave at the same time. It doesnt make much sense i agree

But it's something i need. Goodbye beautiful.
You were never my best bet, and surely not my gold chariott

    Welcome To All Poetry

    Hi stev3m

Great poem, i like the last two lines. We don't choose who we love and sometimes they are not right for us but our hearts never listen
