you swear on the sun
the moon
and the stars
all while giving me indigestion
swallowing them promises
like swallowing hot sauce
it might be tasty
but it is bound to come back
and bite you
the reflux of what i try to take in
becomes throw-up in the back of my throat
as i spit the words
right back at you

You've got to watch out for those hot promises
Great job with the prompt ... made me wanna burp up every gasy promise I ever made

yep bite right on the butt butt butt...Like the rantish raw attitude ... you have something to say just telling it straight. Your lines took me rght there with you cheering you on.
Excellent take on the prompt... Good luck.

Wow this is powerful, particularly the last couple stanzas. So very creative and so harsh at the same time.
