I gorged myself on cotton candy hopes
as sticky fingers grasp my heart,
throwing faith into funhouse mirrors;
distorted tongue twists as balloon animals
and painted faces mock insecurities-
Your carnival oaths insure
nauseated insanity as
hell's ferris wheel spins
trust into oblivion
where I ride on your word

Hell think i went to the same fairground on more than one occasion. You held my attention to the end as those spinning wheels called memory jumped out.
Excellent take on the prompt.
Good luck
