Off contemplating the unknown
Tell me where do I go from here?
I’m lost inside a dying dream
Chasing after the rain.
It seems life takes me to places
To things I never thought I’d see
And I don’t care,
I could walk around
Following the emptiness
That whispers in my ear
Forgetting the world behind my back.
Cause I thought that’s where I belonged
But I know I don’t,
I belong somewhere else
To someone else;
And somehow now
It doesn’t matter where I go from here
I’ll let You guide me there
Through the colorful fields
Raising my hands with joy,
And I can chase after the rain
And follow thriving dreams
Contemplating what is known.

Well, I can definitely relate to this. Hah, beautifully written, dear. I really liked how you started & ending this, with unknowing at first, and then knowing at the end. There's definitely a deep connection in those lines. Wonderful write. I can't wait to read more soon !

young as the moon butterflies.
Melt you in tulips as you fly.

I love the imagery...I just love the idea...I love the beginning and how it ended was perfect. I love it all and great job! It's perfect...It's funny cuz two people who barely know eachother can know what is perfect for eachother, and they are like almost complete strangers, that's why I love ap and looking into the depths of peoples souls by reading their poetry.
