Sacred Sandbox

Sunset --
Glitter on prairies of desertion;
Salty winds blowing in youthful faces.
Pebbles planted with longed virtue;
Squawking gulls of vexation,
yet comfort.

Sure,
the ocean shimmers,
but sand glistens.

    I like how the sand spoke to you in the prompt - its emptiness. Nice pull on the the senses with these lines => Salty winds blowing in youthful faces./Pebbles planted with longed virtue;/Squawking gulls of vexation.
    Thank you for your glittering reverence entry.

    Lovely stuff - I think the shortness and the lack of regular structure really works...I want to go to the beach now!
