Warm brew in womb,
thoughts swimming
like fish in shallow water
slipping through grasping fingers,
Sighs dipped in
perfect concoction
of delight and satiation,
sprinkled with
clear sunlight,
like a blessing.

It is amazing this journey of life how it starts out so small just a few cells ... fish eggs embryos small fry both swimming growing the journey of life has begun....and yes it is a precious blessing for those blessings I am thankful.
Excellent take on the prompt. Nicely crafted....Good luck in this contest.

incredible write, i really like it, i like the line 'thoughts swimming
like fish in shallow water' as you could almost say it is the baby swimming in the womb too and thinking of ways to get out and see mummy. I love the last line too, babies realy are a blessing. all the best in the contest and good luck in future poetry writing xx -
