Decisions
Circling around your own self
Wonder lurks behind you
Whether or not to smile
You seek forgiveness
As your emotions take control
Of the real you
The innocent you
The you who has been forgotten
Tormented, crucified
As you try your best
To please your loved ones
Thoughts surround your confused state
Should you smile
Or suffer the enduring pain?
A sense of belonging awakes
You become one
One with strength, power
One who can survive
The facade of the smile.

WoW! I can really relate to this piece. Always having to please your family, even if it means never seeing happiness. Great write!
