The Joker

We smile and laugh and even play
to keep our spirits up each day.
But, behind the mask I see
the tears you hide and won’t show me.

Like a joker, you often hide
behind a mask of foolish pride.
You can not doubt that I’ve always cared.
A burden is lighter when it’s shared.

I’ve been here for you when you’ve been mad,
I’ve cheered you up when you were sad,
I’ve seen you low, I’ve seen you high.
Now let me hold you when you cry.

Is it too much for a friend to ask
take off the makeup, remove the mask.

    And we all know what charms are about don't we? I could go into detail about the Ankh...but it would be too naughty to go into! I studied "metaphysics" when I was younger. Hey..I don't think you missed much here!

    I'll take them all!!!! You know that the Ankh is not only read as "life" in Egyptian? It's also read as "eternity" as well.. that is why most of the time you see it in the tombs of the Kings and stuff.. Lol.. Anyway cool list of charms. Best of luck!!
