Love.
Some free-verse written, transgressional fiction.
Nihilistic laughter. Love.
It doesn't exist, animalistic, I thought you
loved
me.
Reality bites back too hard and makes my fingers numb
chews the nails off, I'm bleeding
I dream of a full moon, the surreal rainbow
waterfalls after the rain
your face as you lifted yourself out of the pool
But it rains, and the currents are too strong and the clouds
block the stars and there is no sunshine, they never break
Your promised kisses won't capture my soul
tonight.
Tell me it's all a fucking joke
that death doesn't come so swiftly to everyone we love
He was hanging from a noose, his neck bleeding from his fingernails
She had the needle still in her hand
His face was so smashed you wouldn't have even recognised him
if it weren't for the bracelet
She should have died in a better way, without the
white ring around her nose
She still envelopes me in daytime in my dreams.
