Tears can express so much
they are a language of life and us.
From being sliced open to being
so happy and touched by kindness.
Tears can release the very soul
move the heart and reach others.
Tears are the pieces broken the
hungers and unheard voice bleeding.
Tears can release the deepest hurt
pierce the thoughts to flow crimson.
Tears can be painful and cause
the heart to shatter or just exist.
Tears can be the rain of life endured
or the sun light of hope once again.
Tears can bring a beginning or a end
of lost hope and the sense of self.
Or a chance of healing and journey in
happiness to a restoration of living.
Tears are the angels who would hold us
or the ones that still know when silent.
When we have lost ourselves a long
the way in the wings of what is love.
Tears are the heart which pours out
in the storm or blessings we've known.
Tears are a breakdown of so much
learning and growing from the paths.
Tears are the lessons the chances
we all must endure not being alone.
Tears are what we all need to feel
but hopefully together being as one.

Wow, Sherry, I had never really stopped and thought about all the things tears can do but you're sure put it all down here. That's excellent. From one who's very sentimental and familiar with tears, this really sums it all up. Great job.
