As I close my eyes to relax and rest
I hear the soothing pitter - patter of the rain
the rythm, so soft, can calm ones mind
healing souls with the gentle sounds

I notice a scent like noe before
clean and fresh and new life I smell
healing souls with the natural aroma
As I close my eyes to telax and rest
I can't help but feel that God's love is nigh
soft and kind and never straying
