Sweetie,
your love is the ashphyxation of seasons past due--
sand in the hour glass drifting away;
to times where we held hands
[wrote our names in the sand]
like the ones on meaningless icons we posted on each other's walls
what we had was great but .overdue.
[something i wish i could take back, but it still doesn't change the facts]
Summer--
takes me back into time,
where i realize each word you wrote
was once truth in the heavens
but a lie on earth.
salty breezes remind me of a past life where
love was once a friend && confusion knew no home
my heart drifts off into oceans unknown,
waiting to be found like a message in a bottle
[&& your the only one who knows what it says]
shallow waves wash away all of the dignity that i had left.

This was a beautiful write... Although it was really, really hard to read the font with in blending in to the background so well... You might want to fix that part.... This was a really well written piece.. Keep up the great work!
