Walking along
The moonlit beach,
I couldn't have been happier
Because I was with the man I love.
The stars sparkled,
The waves crashed,
Our hearts entwined
Around one another.
We walked along,
Hand in hand
Sometimes pausing for a romantic kiss.
Suddenly, he stopped walking and by the time I turned back to him,
He was down on one knee
With a beautiful diamond ring in his hands.
With tears welling in my eyes,
I listened to him say how much he loves me,
And how he never wants to lose me.
Then he said,
"You have already made me the happiest man on earth,
But will you please make me the most complete?"
Of course I answered "Yes",
And the wedding is planned for next summer,
A wedding at sunset,
So we can celebrate afterwards on a moonlit beach.
Author notes

Please make me the most complete, and say those words I need to hear. Upon the moonlit surf, a walk on the beach that sparkled into the night as love was cast.
Ahhh, the words flowed from your heart. Making me envious of love that goes well.
Good luck in the contest. ~Sie
