Sometimes you write, and you don't have a topic
You have no direction; no clear thought
That's the beauty of poetry; it doesn't matter
Right now, my mind is lost; a million thoughts
Positive, negative and everything in-between
Life flies at you faster than the speed of sound
But you have to be able to hear every word
It might not make sense to others; irrelevant
This is a personal outlet, let out all your thoughts
In poetry, you yourself are the priority
Everyone has the talent to write
It just takes harnessing, and you'll be okay
So don't overthink, don't stress, don't give up
All of your problems will be solved; if you

Poetry brings this whole website together, and I just wrote this without having a topic...I just wrote. I feel that is the best poetry. It is an interesting piece and I'm sure a lot of other poets feel this way. If you feel like writing, write it down and don't think twice. That is true poetry

A very enjoyable piece my friend. I tend to write from the heart, things that I experience and see. I write about my life, even a phrase from a song or movie. There are many things that inspire me to write. Everyone has their own style or inspiration. Great write and I hope your well never runs dry.

a real motivator no matter what kind of hell life is in
the heart needs to vent and just write is a good way I guess
