Spoken
from the darkness above,
whispering bitter truths,
ivory wings
and the life of prayer
you wish to escape.
Author notes
Prompt: Use any baby name
Angel/Angelus
From the medieval Latin masculine name Angelus which was derived from the name of the heavenly creature. In the English-speaking world it is often used as a feminine name. I like using it for a man, mostly because of Angel/Angelus on Buffy.

Interesting poem you have entered, you are so far the only one to write a dark baby based poem.
Surprised me. -
There really should be an apostrophe between the 'l' and 's' in your title...making it 'An Angel's Hell'.
The second line 'from the darkness above' has an unneeded comma you should probably get rid of...
You really could have elaborated this, but you hate long poems, so I guess not. The flow was okay, but I feel like you've written poems like this before. -
Oooo "whispering bitter truths" its so vivid, IS AWESOME!
