Thoughtless Immenity

i don't know why i even try...
i end up getting hurt in the end,
because i hurt him,
or he just does something to hurt me.
this time it was both.
my heart could take no more pain,
but i tried to make it work.
i cannot love like he wants-
not yet anyway...
and this he just does not understand.
i want to be friends,
because i dont want to lose him yet.
but still,
he does not understand.
