I’m having a silent war with him
The battle’s about to begin
I’ve a powerful army and an in defeat able strategy
There’s no way I won’t win
I’m having a silent war with him
The troops waiting for my command
Each armed with weapons of jealousy
And a sharp tongue in their hand
I’m having a silent war with him
I charge at him full force
Demonstrating courage and skill
In a manner that could be considered quite coarse
I’m having a silent war with him
The battle was bloody and hard
Each of my solider left battered and bruised
Each of my soldiers left scared
I’m having a silent war with him
Victory is mine at last
But the satisfaction does not stay long
The pleasure fades too fast
He’s winning the silent war with me
His defence tactic’s are the best
A shield made of indifference
And a white flag beats in his chest
He’s won the silent war with me
And yet he does not gloat
Cause he did not know the was a war at all
He didn’t give it a seconded thought
