In the universes between me and you,
interplanetary wars are started.
riots break out across the stars...

In the days between your fingertips and mine,
Where calendar months and sixty minutes on clocks

You to me they bind, as the hands tick-talk.

In the miles between what each of us calls home,
natural disasters strike
like lightning,
the same lightning continually striking you and I, alike.

In the inches between your lips and mine,
entire worlds are born of our DNA
breathed into life
by what each of us is scared to say.

In the space between where I am and when you reach for me,
volumes are spoken-
detailing my affection for you,
through thought processes disjointed and broken.

In the darkness between where my eyes close and yours open,
I fall in love with you in my dreams,
where anything is possible, any love is probable,
