The secretive lives of cats, unable to grasp completely.
I watch mine day and night, sneaking peeks so discreetly.
My Preacher I have renamed my little one eyed jack.
Even in rest one eye stays open guarding from attack.
He whines for attention, he must be loved and pet.
When both cats whine together it's a kitty cat duet.
My Onyx is Ms.Royal, so aloof and so cool.
So different from preacher she's the queen, and he's the fool.
My Onyx literally waddles , then flops in a spot of sun.
Occasional swats at Preacher is how she gets her fun.
Different personalities , but yet still the same.
They walk around so intense, but life is like a game.
Jumping from bed to dresser so svelte and precise.
Even the best gymnast could use their advice.
To watch them both clean and preen would be a full-time job.
Cats find ever nook and inch, veritable cleaning snobs.
Tracking and spying, they'd make a navy seal proud.
No critter ever gets out alive, that wouldn't be allowed.
Preacher and Onyx you truly make our lives complete.
To us you will always be the kitty cat elite.

Option 1 things to cheer you up, get a cat or a couple cats, or a dog or bird or fish it takes the focus off you and directs it into something else. That's what gets me out of a depression
