she watched the stars fall away from the sky
as the moon bled itself to sleep that night
and the mirror behind her was telling her to escape
in to another dimension away from where she doesn't belong
[alone & afraid]

she felt nothing in her heart
as old rugged roads she used to cross
disappeared like they never existed
and she stretched out her hands inside that reflection
there was no such thing as oz tonight
[wonderland was even more of a nightmare]
blue eyed girl with no dreams left
and stitched up scars upon her soul
no rainbows after the rain that fell
no rainbows after the tornadoes touched her world
"she wanted to be like dorothy, she wanted to get lost over a rainbow,
instead she's just like alice, trapped in a wonderland"
repeating this quote just wasn't enough to handle
as she jumped in the ocean off to neverland
[who needs wonderland when you can never grow old?]
