Know

  "What they don’t know
  Can’t hurt them"
But can it?
What they don’t know
Can too hurt them
If they know they can’t Know
Will that hurt them?
Will not Knowing
Be the cause of their demise?
What do you know
about not Knowing?
How can you say its okay?
Not knowing, not knowing
It is worse than knowing
Because if you know
Know the terrible burden
Then you can ease, ease the burden
Ease the pain, but
If you know you can’t know
When that happens, you must watch
watch as helplessly as a puppy
Not Knowing eats you up
Eats you up like a falcon to its prey
Merciless, tedious and draining
It eats at your soul like
Not eating does to your stomach
It is gnawing. Eating. Eating your soul
And it will be now,
Because you Know that you don’t Know
It is the unreachable, the impossible dream
Not knowing is the
Person you cant place
The thing you cant face
The never-ending chase
What about not knowing,
Not knowing that you don’t Know?
Does that make sense?
That is the
  "ignorance is bliss"
But eventually you will know
that you don’t know
  “sooner, rather than later”
It is bliss, it is a blessing, oh how it is
A blessing, not Knowing
Do you know?
Do you know what I Know?
When not a soul is around, all I can do is Know
Because yes, I Know
Oh, you don’t know
Do you?
Don’t be eaten up like prey
Please oh please
I can’t tell you, you know that
It would break me
But somehow I guess that you know
Sometimes...
You can ask me, what do you know about Knowing?
I'd tell you, that I know. I Know.
If I knew, If I knew. I don’t know.
Not in the literal sense,
In the literal sense
I Know.
But I don’t know so much more.
It is like knowing two
But not one plus one
Useless, wasted Knowing.
It is eating at me too
But it is my problem
So it would eat at me, Knowing
Would you take it as a burden?
Would you take up my cross?
Don’t hurt yourself over it
Don’t hurt yourself over me either
I cant tell you
Don’t take my burden. I don’t
Want that. If I told you, would
You restrain yourself from telling
Anyone?
At all?
If I told you, you would Know.
Where would I be?
I don’t know. I don’t know.
If I knew more maybe I could understand
Both know and understand
A luxury, with a cost
Do you know? You are bright and aware
Don’t be worried, just know
Know and know and know.
If you know, then you'll Know
Watch, and you'll know, maybe.
Maybe.
Maybe you’ll even understand
Better than me.
But knowing isn’t much fun either
It is a burden. Is knowing
A burden or a blessing?
A burden. Maybe.
Knowing. It makes me sigh
I used to not know, you know
But now things have changed
  “the tables have turned”
A hundred and eighty degrees
Do you want the tables to turn again?
Go back to the old days?
I can only hope
That the table, my table will
Continue rotating
But end at its original spot, because
I am the Knower
And you are the knowless, now
I don’t like being the Knower
Knowing is a burden. A blessing
or burden?  a burden
Do you know? please tell me
After all, I don’t know if you Know
And it will eat me up
Like a falcon to its prey
Merciless, tedious and draining
I think you know. Do you
Know? What has it changed?
Has it changed you, knowing?
It does, doesn’t it?
Then again, what hasn’t it changed?
If you know, you would change too.
It would be a blow, a burden
Have you been burdened before?
The brutal, soul eating kind?
Now you know what I feel, if not what I know
I know. But there is so much more I don’t
When you say “idk” what are you saying?
I said that a lot because I didn’t know what to know
But I know,
Know, now
Do you really Know? I watch you
Watching. You most likely Kno
Can you see the burden on my shoulders?
It weighs you down, Knowing
You see the burden but you cant have it
I’m sorry, it is my burden and
If you were to Know then the tables wouldn’t turn,
They’d flip upside down only to be demolished. I
Wouldn’t have a table.
I wouldn’t have a table to Know with
Don’t worry, don’t fret, don’t concern
Just Know
If I tell you, you will Know
It will hurt, you know. Telling you. it will Hurt
And since you know that you could know
Then you will be eaten up, too.
Don’t be burdened, please
Do you know,
Could you know?
Should you know?
Would you know?
If I told you how to know
Without a spoken word
Just how to Know and Know
Would you Know?
You could Know. If you did
Would you watch like the falcon?
They would. But would you?
How can one ask for the falcon to have mercy
After all, he is the falcon. It is like
asking a waterfall to stop
It doesn’t.
Do you know?
I think you do
You know something, anyway
You watch and you observe
And that is where knowing comes from
Watching, observing
So watch, observe, and you will know
But I think you do already
I want with full heart for you to know
Know and Know
But then, it would break my full heart
Maybe
I want you to know, but
"knowledge is power"
But I don’t want you to have power
Not because I want to hold you back
Butt if you knew, would you tell?
You could. And you’d have rights to
Spread the burden around so we all'd have a piece
Spread out the pain so we all would get a bit
I trust you, you know. Know that.
But if I slip. will you, too?
If you Knew, If you Knew
Oh I yearn for you to know
Sometimes
And then we could know together
But you cant and I'm sorry
Can you?
Don’t be eaten up
Like a falcon and its prey
Oh, to Know....

Author notes

Should this be more vague or more specific? I can go either way
And is it understandable? Not what the burden/Knowing is because that I cant tell you. But the poem at large, is it understandable?

I'm new at this free verse stuff. Help pleasee?
