In the dusk a woman calls to me;
that one knitting stories,
weaving tapestries I have never seen
the likes of here
where yarns tangle
a wolf’s call in eyelash fringes
against a slathering shore
calls me to rest, to sleep,
and let her drag me in
one knot after another
I am come undone by morning;
wearing invisible cloak of wisdom,
sprinkled with stars
and flecks of Universal truths.
Author notes
Prompt: "I awake and I'm one person, and when I go to sleep, I know for certain I'm somebody else. I don't know who I am most of the time."

This is powerful, I love the metaphor and imagery you've used! The last stanza is breathtaking and the whole poem has a quiet essence of spiritual wisdom! Beautiful! Thanks for entering!

Ahhh, this is so beautiful

I get the feeling of two seperate lives, which fits perfect with the chosen prompt
My favorite line in this piece is:
"I am come undone by morning;
wearing invisible cloak of wisdom,"
-I often feel myself come undone by morning, how sad it is sometimes that we have to wake up to reality... But that's life
Wonderful write! Best of luck dear
